Welcome to the alternate format website for the DRC Student Portal. 

Only students who are enrolled with the DRC and who are approved for this accommodation will be granted access.

Please carefully read the following instructions:

·         The first time you log in to the Alternative Format tab, you are required to agree to the student responsibilities for accessing Alternative Format.   

·         A copy of the book receipt(s) are required to request accessible texts. 

o   The receipt should be uploaded when making new requests. 

·         When we cannot obtain a digital copy of your book from the publisher, we will need to scan your hard copy.  This requires us to chop the spine off the book.
      o   You will receive an email if we need you to bring your text in.

·         Files will be created on a first come, first serve basis, and can take up to 6 weeks.

·         Books will be delivered via the Student Portal.  You will receive an email when your book is ready for download.
      o   If you delivered a hard copy book to be converted, you will also receive instructions on how to retrieve this book from the DRC.

·         Books will be available for download in PDF format, unless otherwise specified during your initial enrollment meeting.
